By using devtoolbox.ai and its tools (“Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DevToolBox provides free web-based developer utilities (formatters, converters, generators, lookup helpers, and similar tools). Features may change, move, or be discontinued at any time.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activity
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer our infrastructure in a way that harms the Service
• Abuse third-party APIs or registries accessed through network tools
• Scrape the site in a way that degrades availability for others
• Misrepresent affiliation with DevToolBox

3. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Tools may contain bugs or produce incorrect output. You are responsible for verifying results before using them in production systems, security decisions, financial calculations, or legal contexts.

Examples: JWT decoding does not verify signatures unless explicitly stated; calculators are estimates; validators are not a substitute for full standards compliance or professional advice.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevToolBox and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of data you paste into tools. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process that data and for not submitting unlawful content. Client-side tools process data in your browser; see the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and original content (guides, copy, layout) are owned by DevToolBox or its licensors. You may use the tools for personal and commercial projects; you may not copy the site wholesale or rebrand it as your own product without permission.

7. Third-party services

Lookup tools and ads may depend on third parties. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party availability or policies.

8. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
